Carlow County Development Partnership (CCDP) supports employment and community development through SICAP, Tús, and the Rural Social Scheme (RSS). SICAP provides training and support to help individuals overcome social exclusion and unemployment in our JETS Centre. (Jobs Education Training Supports) through the provision of education, training and pre-employment courses. LEADER provides training for Economic Development and Job creation through Theme 1 of the LEADER programme.  Tús offers short-term work placements for jobseekers, enhancing skills and employability through community projects. RSS supports low-income farmers and fishermen with part-time work in local initiatives. These programmes empower individuals, strengthen communities, and contribute to Carlow’s social and economic growth.
