Mental Health Booklet Launched

The megalithic Browneshill Dolmen was the site for the recent launch of the Mental Health Supports Carlow Booklet by Carlow County Development Partnership CLG  and Carlow Mental Health Association.

The 16-page booklet provides information on services from crises support and counselling, Carlow regional and nationally based supports, drug, alcohol and addiction supports and supports for children and young people. 5,000 copies of the booklet have been distributed throughout the county with a further 5,000 being printed.

Speaking at the launch, Joanne Donohoe, Development Worker, Carlow County Development Partnership CLG said “We are delighted to have joined forces with Carlow Mental Health Association to develop and launch this booklet. It is important for people to stay informed about mental health and well-being.”
